Equal Parenting Iceland is a human rights association that stands for children's rights to both their parents and the equal rights of parents to fulfill their parental role regardless of family structure. The association wants to promote an objective and informed discussion about the situation of children and parents, in such a way that the legislature, the executive and the judiciary guarantee children that the principle of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child is respected, that parents have a joint responsibility for raising a child and to maturity.
