The Cancer Association of Akureyri and the surrounding area runs a service center in Akureyri that provides education, support and counseling to persons diagnosed with cancer and their relatives, free of charge. Counselor interviews, support groups and various useful courses are available. The company's operating area is from Siglufjörður in the west to Stora Tjörn in Fnjóskadal in the east. The association work is entirely based on the support of individuals, companies and other associations. Thanks for the support.
