Líf was founded on December 7, 2009 and has the main goal of supporting and strengthening the Women's Department of Landspítal, improving facilities and services for women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth and childbirth, as well as for women who need care due to gynecological diseases. The establishment of LÍFS and its support have made a difference for the women's ward of the hospital.
