Sigurvon´s main purpose is to support the fight against cancer in every way. Sigurvon runs a service center in Ísafjörður but is for all of Westfjords, where people with cancer and their relatives can go and get all kinds of support, education and advice.

One of Sigurvon's most important goals is to financially support individuals who are struggling with cancer. The financial burden of those who fall ill is great, and not least of all those who live in rural areas. It is therefore important that a regional association like Sigurvon can cultivate its role with dedication, with the loyal help of its fellow citizens.
