My stepdaughter´s mother had a lot of support from this institution in her battle against cancer and I only heard good things bout it.
I lost my mother and a really close friend to breast cancer in 2025 and even though they were in other countries and could not benefit from the support from Ljósið.
I wish that Brazil and Denmark had an institution like this to support her and my family thoughout the process and that is why I want to support the institution.

Ljósið er sjálfstætt starfandi endurhæfingar- og stuðningsmiðstöð fyrir krabbameinsgreinda. Hjá okkur starfar þverfaglegur hópur fagaðila að andlegri, líkamlegri og félagslegri endurhæfingu þeirra sem greinast með krabbamein allt frá 16 ára aldri. Einnig veitum við þeim sem greinast og aðstandendum allt niður í 6 ára aldur fræðslu og stuðning.
